Yule was created during the Game Lab programme of the Game Design bachelor at Hanzehogeschool, Groningen (Netherlands). Along other fellow students, I worked with the objective of building a feasible product that could be introduced to the market in order to generate profit. Using a smartphone app and a standalone video game, we wanted to create a therapeutic aid for children experiencing communication problems within the family household.
For this project I took the role of lead developer as I had a few more years of experience than rest of the programmers. In addition to that, I participated in the design team, as it seemed convenient that I discussed and explained the technical capabilities and constraints the video game had whenever any creative idea was brought to the table.
